Taylor Jhayde is an Alaska-based resin artist and the founder of Jhayded Art Designs. Her work draws inspiration from geodes, crystals, the ocean, and the contrasting natural beauty of Guam, where she was born and raised, and Alaska, where she now creates. Through layers of resin, texture, movement, and individually hand-placed crystals, Taylor creates original pieces centered around feelings of peace, healing, and positive energy.

After more than ten years as a professional makeup artist, Taylor found resin art during COVID while searching for a creative outlet to support her mental well-being. She took classes, began experimenting with the medium, and quickly developed a passion for watching each unpredictable, one-of-a-kind piece come to life. Her work has since been sold through Instagram and featured annually at the Juneau Public Market.

Taylor continues to expand her practice through deep-pour resin, floral preservation, keepsakes, and memorial art. Through Jhayded Art Designs, a name inspired by her middle name, Jhayde, she hopes to create pieces that bring the same happiness and sense of peace to their owners that creating them brings to her.
